Project Summary

The Bonnie and Bill Stubblefield Institute for Civil Political Communications is the political department of Shepherd University and the host of the annual Civiliy Awards. Launched in September 2022, the purpose of the ceremony is to award prominent people who have displayed civility in their work. The committee for the Civility Awards hired me to create a brand identity that tied into the existing brand of the Stubblefield Institute. I designed the banners and glass trophies for the ceremony. I also assisted the committee by communicating directly with the printers so they only had to worry about fulfilling the payment.

 

Some of the awardees of the inaugural event included: U.S. Representatives Derek Kilmer and William Timmons, the chair and vice-chair of the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress; Maryland Governor Larry Hogan; nationally acclaimed political journalists David Brooks and the late Mark Shields; and U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Suzanne Clark. and the late Mark Shields; and U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Suzanne Clark.
