Project Summary

Northampton County Education Foundation approached me in need of a rebrand. Their goal was to develop a brand identity that represented community, partnership, education, simplicity, energy, and the local schools without being cliche.

 

This minimalistic wordmark system was designed to break out of the stereotypes of education while standing out as simple and unique from the other educational groups in Hampton Roads. The line under the text symbolizes the idea of community as it supports the letters and unifies the whole symbol. The versatile color palette allows the organization to have the ability to represent every school in their county.
